Immune Strong or Impaired?

Looking Beyond the COVID-19

Whether it's the COVID-19 or the season flu, a strong built immune system is always key to prevention. Yes we all most support stopping the spread

- social distancing - wash hands - sanitize surfaces - don't touch your face The Common Denominator to Those More Susceptible Average age of 50+ with long standing chronic conditions: cardiovascular, endocrine, diabetes, intestinal. Any and all of these contribute to a depressed immune system. Contributors to Impaired Immune System - nutritional deficiencies - pharmaceutical over use (vaccines, antibiotics and over the counter meds) - recreational alcohol, drugs - gastrointestinal dysfunction (dysbiosis) - environmental toxic exposure - food sensitivity / food allergy - liver dysfunction - chronic system infections - elevated stress levels ( physical and emotional) - lack of exercise - oxidative stress (aka elevated inflammation) - hormonal imbalances Many of the above are very common in our culture. Are You Immune Strong? (and how to know) - Having any of the above, suppresses the immune system. The longer the factors are in place the more depressed the immune system becomes. - A very effective tool to learn where your immune system stands is through functional health lab testing (blood respiratory and urine) There have been basic blood lab findings* with those who have tested positive for COVID-19: - Abnormal liver enzymes = liver is not optimally detoxifying, the more/longer toxins stay in the body, the more the immune system is stressed - Disproportionate white blood cell counts = the immune system has been alarmed and is firing - C-Reactive Protein is elevated = an inflammatory marker *having these markers out-of-range does NOT mean you have COVID-19 but does show a depression in system function - Have you had labs completed only to been told they looked "normal"but ....you still are dealing with a health issue(s)?

- Functional Lab Analysis* is an effective prevention tool to identify early system imbalances (before disease or chronic illness), can identify root drivers to your health symptom(s) and identify nutrient deficiencies.
