Comprehensive Hormone Panel:
The SimplyHormone™ CORTISOL 24 test is a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the in vitro quantitative measurement of active free cortisol in saliva at four different time points during the day to capture the diurnal cortisol rhythm. Diurnal cortisol levels measured with the assay may be used as an aid in assessing Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Adrenal (HPA) axis function; monitoring or diagnosing Cushing’s Syndrome, Addison’s disease, chronic stress, PTSD, depression, and anxiety disorders; and managing chronic illness.
Circadian rhythms play a central role in regulating a wide range of physiological functions, including hormone release, metabolism, immune responses, and the sleep–wake cycle. These rhythms are controlled by an internal biological clock that aligns peripheral clocks in different tissues with external cues such as light and food intake. Among the hormones influenced by circadian regulation, cortisol is especially important for maintaining physiological balance. Produced by the adrenal glands under the direction of the hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal (HPA) axis, cortisol follows a distinct daily pattern—rising sharply in the early morning to support wakefulness, alertness, and metabolic readiness, then gradually decreasing throughout the day to promote rest and recovery
This test was developed and its performance characteristics determined by Alimetrix Corporation. Alimetrix Corporation is a CAP accredited, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA), 42 U.S.C. §263a, certified high-complexity laboratory. CLIA recognizes and supports the use of laboratory developed tests for diagnosis and management of diseases in human subjects.
After placing your order through CoeDynamics, then a test kit can be mailed out to your residence along with instructions. A separate analysis appointment with CoeDynamics will be scheduled to review the results with the customer.

Collecting Instructions
Collecting samples for Simply Test saliva-based tests is quick and easy, but it is important to follow instructions to ensure accurate results. Both tests require the same pre-collection preparation: do not eat, drink, brush teeth, smoke, vape, or chew gum for 15 minutes prior to collection. For the Cortisol 24 test, all four collections must occur on the same day, and within the required time windows, as cortisol levels change throughout the day. Plan collections for a day when you have ample time for all four samples.
Spit directly into collection tube until reaching fill line—no saline rinse needed.
Remove funnel, cap with the screw cap containing blue preservation solution, and tighten until blue solution releases. Mix by tilting back and forth. Write your full name and date of birth on the label – the lab requires these two identifications. Remove and keep the barcode sticker from the tube tray lid – it matches the collection tube ID. Seal sample in the bio-bag and return to the lab in the prepaid shipping box. Samples are stable at room temperature for several days.
