Pilates was designed by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900′s. Today, through a comprehensively trained Pilates teacher, the original fundamentals of Pilates’ work is adapted to the individual to achieve a positive transformation for virtually everyone!

Pilates is a movement technique using the body and mind in a self or spring resistant, non-impact environment. Pilates movement techniques are designed and adapted so EVERY BODY can benefit: those dedicated to healthy lifestyles to those wanting to start a healthy lifestyle, young and seniors, pre and post natal, athletes and injured. The emphasis of efficient breath, core awareness, eccentrically strengthening muscles, and relaxing over-active muscles, results in an energy efficient use of the human body leading to a stronger, leaner and more flexible body, dynamic function, and wellness.
